Operation Organization!
It's that time of year again... Back to school time (cue the sad music). It's a love/hate time of year for sure. I love it because I can smell the structure and routine the kids (and I) desperately need however, I hate this time of year because It means summer is officially coming to a close. With everyone returning from vacation, and being for the most part outside, we now focus on the ever so daunting task of getting things back in order inside the house. OPERATION ORGANIZATION is what this time of year is called under my roof. Time to get things organized and stored properly to help make the transition to the new school year as seamless as can be. I hope you find my personal solutions as useful as I do!
Absolute MUSTS: A masterplan, labels, great lighting for dark spaces, containers with multiple sizes for both the little and big items, color code system, and most of all WILLPOWER to discard those unused/unneeded items.
NOW GET TO ORGANIZING!
